The person on the phone is the one who turns up
Saltbush Electrical is small on purpose. When you call, you talk to the person who'll be doing the work, not a call centre. They'll ask a few questions, maybe ask for a photo, and tell you straight whether it's a quick fix or something bigger.
Most of our work is homes. Older Queenslanders that need a new switchboard. New builds that need fans and lights before the first summer. Holiday places on the island that need a once-over before guests arrive. Sheds, granny flats and garages that need power run out to them properly.
Saltbush is a tough native shrub that grows where other plants give up: salt air, sandy soil and full sun. That's the standard we hold our work to. It should still be doing its job long after we've driven away.

How we work
What you can expect on every job
Big job or small, it runs the same way.
We turn up when we say.
You get a time, not a 'sometime Tuesday'. If a job before yours runs over, we ring and tell you, so you're not stuck at home waiting.
Upfront quotes, no surprises.
You get the price in writing before any work starts. If we open a wall and find something we didn't expect, we stop, show you, and let you decide. No surprise lines on the invoice.
Plain English.
We tell you what we found, what needs doing now, and what's fine for another year or two. If something doesn't need replacing, we'll say so.
We clean up after ourselves.
Drop sheets go down before the tools come out. Offcuts, packaging and plaster dust leave with us. The only sign we were there should be that everything works.
Tested before we leave.
Every circuit we work on is tested before we pack up, and you get the paperwork that goes with it. If a safety switch or smoke alarm is part of the job, we test it with you there.
Homes are our thing.
We don't chase big commercial fit-outs. Houses, units, granny flats, sheds and holiday places are what we do, and we'd rather do them well.
